Last academic year in particular, Heads and teachers were starting to tell us how much time they'd save if Blippit® Boards could also be used to help them manage the process of collating and showcasing the rich experiences that were happening linked to UNICEF UK's Rights Respecting Award (RRSA). Schools knew that Blippit had been helpful with two other popular awards / accreditations - Eco-Schools Green Flag Award and Global Neighbours from Christian Aid, so our journey began as we learned from the RRSA Team about their important work, focusing of the RRSA school framework to see if we could add value.

It's now September and we're pleased to say that, after collaborating with the very supportive RRSA team, we can now offer FREE to all schools who want it, a brand new Blippit® Boards UNICEF RRSA tagging category. It will be going live very shortly this month. We anticipate that it will help to make collating, monitoring, reporting and understanding progression towards silver or gold RRSA levels a lot more steamlined and holistic in approach.

As a reminder of the two levels:

Our Tag Pre-fixes

Blippit® Boards tags are prefixed with the silver or gold followed by the strand and outcome number as a quick reference. Here are two tags as  examples:

How do you get the UNICEF RRSA tagging category?

The new tags appear automatically in the Blippit® Boards app when adding new or editing existing boards. Like all of our other tagging categories for subjects, teachers swipe to the left to see the UNICEF RRSA category and add silver or gold tags. Once boards are created and tagged with RRSA they'll also appear in the dashboard like any other subject or framework where filtered charts and reports that focus on RRSA are available. If your school isn't on the RRSA journey and you don't need it at this time, then you can hide the category.
