Tagging is done by a teacher when making or editing a board, maybe even another teacher's board, using the app. It helps subject leaders to discover and see easily how their subject is surfacing across the school. Tags can be updated anytime, even once a Board is published.

Tag Categories

Use the app's built-in simplified tag categories to ensure that your evidence can be discovered on Blippit Boards. The more tags added the better and more meaningful the insights are on your DashBoard.

How and when to apply tags

  1. Tap 'Add Tags' when creating or editing an already published board using the app.
    • tap the vertical 3 dots menu next to the title of a board in the app, select edit and then tap the tags icon to begin.
  2. Swipe left or right to see and select more tag categories and apply what you need with a tap.
get rid of tag categories you don't need to see
  3. When you have added everything you need to the board (title, description, video, pics, tags etc) tap the tick in the top right corner to publish your board.
  4. A notification is sent out to other devices in school to alert colleagues that a new board has been created.
  5. Your tagged board is represented in chart-form in the body of evidence in the dashboard.
