Adding links to other resources in an evidence board

February 8, 2025

Minimum update required (ver 2.3.7)

This powerful feature allows a teacher's board to connect to any online resources in Microsoft One Drive or Google Drive including

  • planning/resource documents
  • class presentation resource

Resources never leave OneDrive or Google Drive so any files that teachers link to from an evidence board

  • are always the latest version
  • managed by the file owner
  • respect the sharing settings applied by the teacher OneDrive or Google Drive.
New link update

Only available in app ver 2.3.7

UPDATE TO V2.3.7 APP FOR THIS FEATURE

How to add a link
  1. Copy and paste a file share link, starting with https:// , directly into the Blippit board description area from a saved OneDrive or Google Drive file. There is no limit to the number of links that can be added to a Blippit evidence board so creating list with a simple descriptor will help.
  2. Tag your board using the 'Cloud-Linked Files' category in the app and select the tags that represent the type of file being linked to e.g. 'ms word', 'ms powerpoint' and so on.
  3. View the published evidence board and check that the link does what you expect by tapping or clicking it.
Choose tags so they can be used to filter and find later

Select the tag(s) that apply to the resource you have linked to from the 'Cloud-Linked Files' tagging category. This makes it easy for others to filter their Blippit timeline for certain resource types.

Links in Blippit reports

When a PDF or Word document has been run, any links will appear in the report too in a shortened form (from 21/3/25)
